Following Flood Recovery Planning Project work which took place between March and November, at the end of 2025 SPiCE - led by Community Facilitator Trixi Pavey - produced a final report detailing:
- Flooding background in Sandringham and Balmoral
- Anecdotes from community members and their experiences during and following flooding events
- Feedback and learning from Flood Recovery Planning engagement events and pop-ups with the Balmoral and Sandringham community
- Future steps to be taken in the Flood Recovery space for Sandringham and Balmoral, informed by the above

Through this mahi, we also identified the key priorities for community members in Sandringham and Balmoral regarding recovery, resilience, and building a thriving community.
