One of our community's longstanding priorities has been to host more events in and around Sandringham. In response, SPiCE launched the Floral Carpet Festival in 2017, bringing a burst of color to Sandringham Reserve. Each year in March, the community comes together to create a stunning floral artwork in an Indian rangoli pattern, using thousands of marigolds grown by local residents, schools, and community gardens.
This free family event has become a beloved tradition, featuring traditional dancers, henna artists, delicious local food, and a vibrant display of color. It’s a must-see event in Sandringham. Browse through the images below to experience the magic of this vibrant celebration.
