From Drab to Fab! A vibrant makeover adds beautiful colour to Sandringham Reserve
Sandringham Reserve Toilets have been transformed with a bright and beautiful mural.
Local artist Ross Liew (@mroscarlow) was commissioned by SPiCE to design a vibrant mural for the village of Sandringham. The result has transformed this once grey and dreary toilet block in the Reserve.
The inspiration for the design came from the many South Asian eateries which can be found in the village - particularly the ingredients used in the many delicious dishes which can be found here.

The artwork uses plants that are the corner stones of South Asian cuisine - tamarind, fenugreek, cloves, cardamom, kodampuli. You can smell them in the air when you pass through the shops" Ross Liew
SPiCE commissioned and led the project, supported by funding from the Albert-Eden Local Board and judging by feedback we have received, the local community love the bright new addition to the village.
